Overseas Training A3 Credits

Over the course of 3 to 4 weeks, students will experience various business operations at one or more overseas locations. They will also conduct research on the training location, relevant business partners, and the market based on a specific theme selected by the student in advance. This training is designed for employees and staff of companies and local governments, with the aim of practically developing global business acumen and communication skills through learning about the local business environment and the various challenges of global business.

  • 2023 Graduate: Koji Hirohama (Fukui Byora Co., Ltd.) Studied the roles of Managing Director and General Affairs/Accounting Manager at the overseas branch of a Japanese company in Bangkok.
  • 2023 Graduate: Shinya Masuda (Inoue Shoji Co., Ltd.) Studied the methods and challenges of Japanese companies' overseas expansion by interning at a consulting firm in Singapore that supports the overseas expansion of Japanese companies.

Overseas Training B4 Credits

Students will participate in a two-month internship at a JICA overseas office, where they will gain experience in communicating and building trust with counterparts, as well as in the problem-solving processes involved in project implementation. This training is designed for employees and staff of companies and local governments involved in planning new projects. It aims to develop personnel capable of generating new insights and ideas through experiences not typically available in regular work duties.

Overseas Training C5 Credits

For six months, students will join a multinational team at UNESCO as trainees, gaining hands-on experience in organizational management in a global setting. They will learn how to facilitate discussions among people with diverse values and cultural backgrounds. This training is designed for employees and staff of companies and local governments seeking to develop advanced global talent. It aims to enhance practical skills in negotiation and organizational management among individuals working with people from diverse backgrounds.

  • 2022 Graduate: Rino Sakurai (Fukui Prefectural Government Office) Participated in a six-month research study on cultural policies of various countries at the UNESCO headquarters in France.
